Boudoir Bizarre: Kissin' fetish dolls

Kissin' fetish dolls

This time we went for the ninth edition of Boudoir Bizarre and we hadn't missed a single one of them so far. And with another different theme again. The party's themes were surprising sometimes, predictable at some other times. And also, this edition might very well be the last one, as the organisers couldn't come to an agreement about the next one. Well, so be it. A second lustrum or not? We'll see. The venue this time was The Lexion again. The third venue for Boudoir Bizarre from the moment they started out and their second party at this particular spot. The removal to this venue was sort of forced upon them and we were curious to see how things turned out to be. To put it briefly... Enough things to explore.

But of course our first interest is having a good time at the party. Hanging around with guys we know and don't know, dancing and flirting in a relaxing and open-minded setting. And we didn't have any doubts about that this time. After the years we visited enough parties to know these elements are mostly present, but question is: what extras will there be? Where can we find the best bits? And Boudoir Bizarre had a real good reputation there, so how to keep up the good works?

Theme for this edition was 'When SUPER HEROES turn perv...'. Oh well, personally we really couldn't make anything out of that. Even though we do like that this party has a theme after all, because it makes people think creatively and makes them wear surprising outfits. But ok, after we passed the usual ceremony at the entrance and the wardrobe, laced up the corset just al little bit more and shined the latex to the most, we were all set for it. The Lexion was again decorated differently from the time before and we now had the pleasure to enter the Arena hall first. Decorated with man-sized comic drawings which didn't really appeal to us, but also with a large stage, a dance floor in the middle and two large bars on the sides. At the back you'll find four more stands which sold (leather) party clothing, BDSM gear and tooth jewellery (oh yes, they did indeed). On the right side of the stage DJ Fetish Dolly provided the first ones on the dance floor with the necessary beats.

We continued on our way until we came across a large playroom. Very well equipped, but still very quiet at the time. Which is not so strange at the beginning of the evening. The passage ended at the Batcave, the second dance-hall with gothic/EBM/electro sounds. From here you could climb up the stairs to a spacey lounge area, another bar and a champagne and an absinthe bar. Another small stage was located here. From here one could reach the balcony of the Arena hall and by going down the stairs, we returned to the spot where we started our journey from.

Our first impression was that we missed some of the 'usual' Boudoir Bizarre ingredients: the red carpet, the lackey that bade us welcome and the Doorbitches. The usual decoration also seemed to be a little meagre than before, but this may very well be a result of the venue's size. A pity, but we didn't got the time to linger over this detail for a long time, because we soon got bewitched by DJ Fetish Dolly and we felt that we had to let ourselves go on the dance floor. As the tides really got high we found out that DJ Allen from Torture Garden had taken over. Great! We danced our hearts out and a bit tired we finally decided, to do some walking around, have a drink and to give our feet some rest. In the mean time some more peeps came in, but it never got to be really crowded. The specially equipped room for smokers excepted though. That one was loaded. Very comfy there, but as we could almost cut the air in pieces in there and as we're non-smokers, this was not an option for us.

Chatting happily with all our party friends, we got lost in time and only just managed to witness the first show featuring Amarantha LaBlanche. We had a change to admire her once before, but were a little disappointed after that. But now she turned out to be a real diva on stage where she performed as Betty Boop and gave her a new and naughty twist. We really enjoyed watching her. After that we were treated to a show by Cherry Kiss Burlesque, based on the film Eyes Wide Shut, where the 'moment supreme' was played out with the matching music. Amusingly interrupted by a burlesque 'feather-act' and rock&roll music. After this 'intermezzo' the show went on. Very original. These refreshing acts make us very happy. After this we were treated to Vivid Angel's super pussy, which provided us with some flinging about liquids so that we had to look for cover underneath the stage. We don't really like this spraying around, because there's a change the liquid will land on your hair or on your outfit. Perhaps it's easy to clean up, but still. After that it was time again for the first DJ of the evening, who now showed her versatility though her act. While singing, she put needles in and out her body and arms. This doesn't really appeal to us, but she made up later that evening, when she showed up at the dance floor, not only looking gorgeous but proving to be a sweet kisser also (mmm.....). After that we had to wait a little longer for the main act of the night, but that proved

to be worth while. During this show, which was announced on the flyer as 'aesthetic and highly erotic fetish' performed by fetish superstar Rubberdoll and her musical companion from the band F.A.Q., hey really showed of at their best. There performance was garnished by impressive and intriguing music that emphasizes the attractive appearance that Rubberdoll is. And even though she showed us her 'rough' side during her performance, she turned out to be a sweet girl, during the little talk that we had with her on the balcony afterwards. And no star like airs for her. She isn't just beautiful, but also a sweet lady and fun to talk to.

So, Boudoir Bizarre's shows where all right again. And they seemed to be one of the issues that make a real difference. Some other things that made the Boudoir Bizarre parties distinguish themselves from other parties are the themes they invent, and the various party people they attract to their happenings. Because of the choice of music and DJ's this party also appeal very much to people from the alternative/gothic scene. And we really do like that. It's refreshing. Only this time these guys didn't show up that much and that was a pity really. We mainly spend the rest of the evening dancing and chatting in the Arena hall. The music was fine and after all that's the most important issue on a party, we think. After DJ Allen had finished his set, DJ Da Dominator took over. And as always... He's not any less enthusiastic at all.

Even though we really had a good time at this ninth Boudoir Bizarre, we felt that the special Boudoir Bizarre feeling wasn't quite there this time. Perhaps because of the things that we lacked, as we mentioned earlier, or because of the spacious rooms of the Lexion that are more hard to transform into intimate and attractive rooms. Who'll will tell? We hope the organizers will use these experiences to make an great succession of this edition. We'll be there. For sure!
