Each year we're looking forward to the Easter weekend. And this is not because we love painting boiled eggs, but it is because of the annual Fetish Evolution Weekend in Essen. A weekend filled with latex, parties, sociability and most of all the special crowd that we meet there. Once again we had chosen for the hotel that had been completely hired by the organization for this event. This made it possible to show off your fetish outfit or admire others, any time of the day.

Saturday 7th March The Catacombs in Utrecht heralded the return of the Dominatrix Fetish party. It was great to meet Brigitte again as without her vision, parties like Dominatrix & Siberia (the smaller version of Dominatrix) would not exist. What a simply marvelous underground location, lots of bare brickwork and hidden passageways which spoke volumes of what is a perfect dungeon kind of location.

Not long after we've visited some big events in London (Rubber Ball) and Essen (Fetish Evolution) we felt that 'party-itch' again. This time we had set our eyes on Berlin on another three days weekend event. Our piggy bank was almost empty, but what could be more fun than a city trip combined with a deep breathe of Berlin's fetish party life. So we took the plunge and departed the Thursday before Whitsun for the German Fetish Ball 2008.

Wasteland: fetish extravaganza and mysterious darkrooms

After the overwhelming experience of the Fetish Evolution Weekend finally faded away, it was time again for another party on native soil. And we didn't pick the least one. Wasteland promises us some kick-ass extravagance and outrageous shows. More than enough to make us pick out a suitable outfit and complete it with some matching accessories.
This time we decided for two dominant outfits. Anita's choice consisted of a black and red corset, black pants, long black gloves, all made of latex of course and knee-high boots with very, very high heels. Martin wore transparent black pants and suspenders, both made of latex and high boots also (without the high heels though). The both topped of with matching officer caps.

Each year, during the Eastern weekend, the pick of the fetish bunch gathers in Essen (Germany) to celebrate the Fetish Evolution Weekend. Models, fashion designers, Masters, Mistresses and party people all know how to find their way to this large event and then melt together into a special and close community for a long weekend. But even though this weekend already started on Friday with the Play Party, we only decided to take off for this German village on Saturday.
