Valentine Special: LUST
Lust-filled entertainment will include:
Frank Sanazi (www.franksanazi.com)
The Ubermeister of Lounge brings a NEW ORDER and discipline to the usually more relaxed swing style. He has embraced the modern idiom by singing about and reflecting on the world around him. As his music and style originate from his homeland he has preferred to call the whole movement 'Fatherlounge' Fans adore his ‘Extreme renditions’ and you can too at ‘The Festival Of Sins’.
'For a truly funny Fuhrer, seek out Frank Sanazi’s brilliant Hitler/Sinatra hybrid'
- The Stage
Lacing Lilith (www.myspace.com/lacinglilith)
An obsessive maker of corsetry, latex and accessories: inspired by victoriana, steampunk and couture fashion. Lacing Lilith is deservedly well known in the fetish fashion scene, and returns to Festival of Sins for a seductively lustful show. With a background in costume design Lacing Lilith has an overwhelming love for creating custom and one off pieces as well as a whole range of corsets, jackets, spats and dresses in leather, latex, satin and any other materials that take his fancy.
The Jackin' Man
Without name, purpose or conscience, The Jackin' Man takes to the stage at Festival of Sins to warp and pervert your conceptions of Lust. Infamous for demonstrating the most brutal, violent, horrifying acts ever witnessed on stage, be sure that his rare appearance to the outside world will be permanently burned into your minds. Nobody knows who he is, where he came from or why he behaves in the shocking way he does - what we do know is that Lust will never look quite the same.
SHH (www.myspace.com/shhsounds)
SHH was formed when singer Diana Huarte enlisted DJ Daniel Gorgostegui to help start an opera club in one of Buenos Aires's many ultra-cool bars. The club never happened but, after hours spent listening to (and arguing about) other people's records they realised they had to make their own: SHH was born.
Their new album, “Gaucho Boy” is a tough, club-worthy yet glamorous beast. It was produced by cheekypaul (www.cheekypaul.com), a veteran studio boffin who has worked with the likes of Sasha and Digweed, Jeremy Healy (including the Dior fashion shows) and the Chemical Brothers.
SixToes (www.sixtoes.co.uk)
After touring with the Mystery Jets, King Creosote and Jamie T in 2007, SixToes retreated to the deepest darkest fenland wildnerness to build a little home studio sandwiched between the asylum and historic cathedral. Having come to the end of recording and with the cold closing in they returned to London where they put together the finishing touches to their album ‘Trick Of The Night’. Last year, the band were asked to work on Depeche Mode’s ‘Jezebel’, 'Peace' and 'Come Back' all featured on singles from their ‘Sounds Of The Universe’ album. SixToes have been nominated for MPG Remixer of the Year award and the Depeche Mode Remix was out on 7 December 2009.
“Genuinely strange and original. SixToes possess an intricate, idiosyncratic beauty”

V J Spankie (www.myspace.com/vj_spankie)
VJ Spankie is one of the UK's newest burlesque sensations. VJ will be performing her "Poison" act - her deadliest routine so far - involving chains, canes, black lace and, of course, poison. Trained as a ballet dancer VJ knows all too well about the importance of grace and decorum but instead of tucking it in and looking angelic, she chooses to seductively give it a good old shake. Never one to shy away from a crowd VJ spices up classic burlesque to create an unforgettable and downright sexy adventure.
Mr Schnuggles
The creation of an award winning magician, Schnuggles is unlike any other cabaret or magician you have seen. Certainly not for the squeamish and very much for adventurous audience only.
There will also be:
Gimp stilt walkers and body painting by Twisted Cirque; Fetish photo studio by andyhphotography; stalls (including creations from http://compulsivebehaviour.net, and fetish/burlesque shoes from LuciasRetro), themed door gifts, free cakes and cookies and experimental art installations.
