With our Sins program, you can get the fame and glory you deserve. Earning Sins is almost as easy as breathing, so get involved and start earning now!
What are Sins?
ALTPARTY Sins are a way of measuring your involvement and contributions to ALTPARTY. They serve as a way to determine how you rank compared to other ALTPARTY members. They're also the basis of a community-wide competition to see which members truly have ALTPARTY in their veins.
How do I earn Sins?
First, you need a ALTPARTY account. As a member, there are a number of ways to earn and accumulate Sins.
Here's a list of the current opportunities:
- Write a party report, previously announced and approved by the ALTPARTY team, earn 50 Sins,
- Add a party, approved by the ALTPARTY team, earn 25 Sins,
- Add a picture, earn 5 Sins,
- Start a new group, approved by the ALTPARTY team, earn 25 Sins,
- Post a group item, earn 15 Sins,
- Post a new website, earn 10 Sins,
- Post a group video, earn 10 Sins,
- Post a group image, earn 5 Sins,
- Post a comment, earn 3 Sins.
- Invite a new member, earn 50 Sins, when he or she registers.
By the way, we're always adding (and taking away and changing) the ways you can earn Sins. (We reserve the right to change the above Sin schedule at any time.) So earn early and earn often.
What is the benefit of having Sins?
- Personal visibility. Whether your contribution is a comment, a group or a party report, every item that links back to your profile on ALTPARTY improves your visibility.
- Bragging Rights. Thousands of people visit ALTPARTY every month. Active contributors rise to the top of our tally sheets and earn the respect and admiration of their peers.
- Did we mention prizes? According to our legal team, Sins earned on ALTPARTY have no cash value. Anyway, future will tell if we're going to award 'something real' to our top contributors.
How do I find out how many Sins I have?
When you're logged in, you'll find your Sins total on left sidebar, just below your user picture.
